Cara Wodnicki

CSW is a publicity firm founded and managed by publicist and longtime music industry veteran Cara Wodnicki, who brings more than 25 years of experience in digital and music spaces along with a storied roster of clients past and present. Wodnicki got her start working with reputed artists and festivals as a publicist at Press Here and BMF Media (the latter of which she launched and ran a music PR division for eleven years before departing to form CSW). She has represented a wide range of high-visibility artists ranging from the Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, La Roux, and Ingrid Michaelson to Jared Leto’s Thirty Seconds to Mars, Disturbed, and Nickelback. Wodnicki has also worked with widely renowned brands and festivals such as Bamboozle, Rock the Vote, and The Clive Davis Institute.

 

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Wodnicki has worked with many trailblazing queer artists across her career—including MJ Rodriguez (Pose), LP, Melissa Ferrick, and Lucas Silveira of Canadian rock band the Cliks, who was the first trans man to appear shirtless in People Magazine. Her history of working to help break international acts to stateside audiences is also incomparable; Wodnicki secured multiple cover stories for J-pop sensations PERFUME, oversaw Radwimps’ PR strategy as they sold out their first-ever U.S. tour, and secured inclusion for Indonesian singer Agnez Mo in Vogue’s legendary “September Issue.”
